DSP & DSTMIS Spring Symposium 2019

We are pleased to finally announce the Spring Symposium of 2019!

Venue:             Festauditoriet  (the Main Lecture Hall), building1-01, Bülowsvej 17, 1870 Frederiksberg C.

Theme:            Microbiota in host-parasite interaction
(but as always we accept abstracts covering all topics within the broad field of parasitology)

Expert in ecology and involved in ECOBIOME: Worms and germs’: an ecological approach to understanding how gut bacteria (microbiome) interact with the parasitic helminths (macrobiome)

Dr. Bahtiar Yilmaz, University of Bern

Expert in microbiota and infectious diseases. He has previously worked with malaria and microbiota, and now with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD).

As always, if you are under 35 years old or within the last two years has obtained your PhD you might be winning the Young Scientist Award for best poster or oral presentation. (…DKR 2000.-, and you DO NOT have to be a member of DSP/DSTMIS).
